Mini donuts, corn dogs, caramel apples as far as the eye can see.

Well, maybe not that far but Winnipeg's Red River Ex has loads of fun fair food that's worth indulging in. (At least once a year anyways.)

With that in mind, I went on a food tour of the grounds and sampled some of those class fair treats. Along the way, I found some new favourites including fried plantains, samosas, churros and ginger fried chicken with noodles.
