The Women's Musical Club of Winnipeg celebrates its 130th year as an organization bringing classical music to our city, by artists both local and international. Join them for a 130th Anniversary Champagne Brunch in the spectacular setting of The Leaf, while hearing Tomson Highway in songs and in stories as only he knows how to tell. Tomson Highway's WMC scholarship prize inspired him to earn a music degree in piano performance. 50 years later, having dedicated himself to the service of his people, he is living an international career as playwright, novelist, pianist, and song-writer.
