Cluster is Winnipeg’s most dynamic take on contemporary art and sound. Revolving around an annual core festival that takes place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Cluster is a platform for artists to create, experiment, collaborate and present fresh work to new and diverse audiences. Heralded as one of Winnipeg’s “most dynamic arts events” (Winnipeg Free Press 2015), Cluster Festival connects you with groundbreaking experimental art and sound. Over the past 10 festivals, Cluster has produced over 40 events, presented over 200 artists from around the world, and invited thousands of audience-members to embrace experimental thinking through the experience of boundary-pushing sound and art. What started as a single artistic seed has evolved into a complex ecology of relationships that is firmly rooted in Winnipeg’s artistic community.
