The Wolseley is overlooked as a residential area with a bohemian reputation and pedestrian-only summer roads. This neighbourhood’s beautiful old houses, charming cafes and artistic alleyways make it a must-see!

Our journey will begin on Westminster Ave, where we will explore turn-of-the-century architecture and enjoy a surprise in one of the local cafes!

We will then head to the unique yellow house of Nellie McClung, the city’s most influential suffragette and learn about her contribution to civil rights.

Upon departing Nellie’s house, we will make our way over to the “Back Alley Arctic,” a series of amazing murals portraying arctic wildlife by Kal Barteski, a fantastic local artist.

Next, we will visit the area’s most famous landmark, the Westminster Cathedral, a beautiful gothic-style cathedral with the city’s most renowned stained-glass window.

The tour continues to Sherbrook to tour the area’s famous murals and gateways to the West-Ends Broadway Ave. Here we will stop for photo breaks with the area’s amazing murals.

To conclude the tour, we head down Balmoral Ave and view the area’s charming historic buildings and arrive at the Granite Curling Club, the oldest curling club in Western Canada, and the new location of the “Beer Can,” the city’s coolest beer garden.
