Fort Gibraltar played a crucial role in the development of the Red River Colony and in the conflict between the North West Company and the Hudson’s Bay Company.

During the summer, Fort Gibraltar is a historical site set in the year 1815. Visit with our interpreters in the trading post, carpenter’s shop, blacksmith shop, warehouse, winterer’s cabin, and outdoor kitchen.
