When you think of Thermëa, the images typically conjured up include its tranquil hot and cold pools, aromatherapy saunas and steam rooms. Although all of that still rings true to the experience you’ll have when you visit, the popular Nordic-inspired spa destination is evolving to highlight the unique summertime vibes with a couple new updates!
1. Lounge on The Beach
There’s a brand new sandy outdoor area to relax in called “The Beach” that invites guests to lounge on comfy beds and relax under large shady trees.
You can also bask in the sun on loungers, or chat around a crackling fire with a glass of wine or craft beer served up from the new Bier Garden kiosk, where summer appetizers are also available to order.
2. That’s right—I said chat
The spa has lifted its whisper policy in almost all outdoor spaces (indoor spaces remain silent), allowing guests to talk and connect. There are even chill beats playing in The Beach area, providing additional ambiance.
3. Rise and shine with an elevated breakfast
Start the day off right with breakfast now available in the Restö daily until 10:30 a.m. For a lighter fare, choose between a mango yogurt lassi made with Manitoba John Russel honey or a PB chocolate oat energy bar. If you’re looking for something to crush your appetite, try out the BOB (or Breakfast On a Bun) made with eggs, ham, maple smoked cheddar, house-made garlic aioli on a toasted brioche bun.
4. Save your spot
Now you can book your guaranteed arrival time on Thermëa’s website, so you can plan that perfectly timed trip knowing a locker has been reserved and a spot is waiting in your name at the spa. In fact, you can book your fully customized day online to include massages or other body treatments on offer.
5. Summer eats and sips
The new summer food and drink menu is now up and Peg City Grub dishes on why Restö is a top-notch restaurant that you’ll want to make time for while there. We’ve got our eye on the summer bowl, Manitoba rainbow trout, Greenland Garden tomato smørrebrød and refreshing strawberry rhubarb sangria.
