Nothing fills our hearts more than live music and events do

It’s time to put the headphones down to experience riffs, melodies, bass and memorable events in-person, using all your senses.

Spots to bop
The Beer Can
Whether you’re looking to whirl around on a Wednesday or sing along on a Sunday, live music bumps all summer long at The Beer Can.

WURLDJAMS every Wednesday with Anthony OKS and DJ Zuki will have you grooving in your seat until the last call. The Thursday Night Concert Series has a full line up until the end of summer with bands and artists that take to the sage at 7 p.m. Summer Sessions boast a different DJ every Sunday to end your week on a high note.

Blue Note Park
Live music lights up the stage every night of the week at this lively downtown spot. The Times Change(d) Outside High & Lonesome Club at Blue Note Park is “Winnipeg’s Finest Honky-Tonk Bar,” and you don’t just get that title handed to you. The schedule features various music genres playing for the rest of the summer, so you're sure to enjoy a tune you can't help but put on your next playlist. Check out the full schedule of upcoming shows, and book tickets for your next in-person concert experience.

Le Patio 340
The city's largest bilingual summer pop-up bar (located in St. Boniface, of course) offers more than just artisanal beer, wine and mocktails. You can sit under the string lights overhead the sizeable grassy seating area at this charming bar and enjoy two live performances each night on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

With local artists and bands, DJ’s, Comedy Open Mics (women, trans* and non-binary), and workshops like beer and wine tasting and Jam Sessions with artists, there's a new happening each night. Plus, Le 100 NONS (Manitoba’s francophone music organization) will be offering workshops that let you discover a musician’s perspective.

Whether you’re looking for a relaxing and groovy evening of music with friends or looking for a totally new experience, Le Patio 340 is the spot to be.

You can visit Le Patio 340’s website for an entire  schedule with additional information on each night’s performances, artists and events.

CTV Winnipeg will broadcast the event for free to transport at-home viewers to the front of the stage so everyone can experience the booming bass and passionate energy of UNITE 150.

Assiniboine Park - Casinos of Winnipeg Summer Entertainment Series
Summer Music Series at the Lyric Theatre
Nothing beats lounging in the big grassy field and grooving to some local performances at Assiniboine Park. So, pack a couple of lawn chairs or a picnic blanket and enjoy a free show every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until the end of summer. Check out the full  schedule for more information about artists, times and dates.

Movies in the Park
Not just one movie, but two movies play on the big screen every Friday. With the early showtime at 6:30 p.m. and a late feature at 8:45 p.m., there are plenty of chances to catch an outdoor film this August. Upcoming movies like Zootopia, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and also Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker are all lined up on the viewing list.

Downtown Sounds Concert Series
Catch free concerts by local Winnipeg artists at various downtown locations such as True North Square, Workers Compensation Board plaza and the Chinese Gardens. The Downtown Sounds Concert Series features performances every Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. until the end of summer.
