In our latest Here For It video series, Cody, Sarah and their friend Darwin the dog visit Fort Garry Hotel and Ten Spa to discover just how much there is to see and do inside.
Leading the trio on a tour is Jordon Lanthier, director of sales and marketing for the Fort Garry Hotel, who showcases new protocols in place that will ensure all visitors have a safe and relaxing time.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
For guests checking in for their stay, expect masks to be worn in public areas and shields in place at the front desk for the safety of all guests.
The Palm Lounge is open daily, where virtually everything is made from scratch. Room service is temporarily unavailable, but there is a pickup service that people can still use to enjoy the food in the comfort of their room.
“One thing that we are doing in all the rooms is getting electrostatic sprayers, and we are actually spraying everything after everything is cleaned,” says Lanthier.
“We go through all the surfaces – flat surfaces, the remotes are checked and also sanitized, as well as every touchable surface in the room is taken care of for your guest needs. So, you have that assurance of being able to stay in a safe and clean room.”
Also open every day is Ten Spa, where the team has been working with the International Spa Association elevating all cleaning procedures. Expect social distancing, frequent disinfecting and endless relaxation during your Ten Spa experience.
