The city’s most –visited tourism attraction now has its iconic hotel back open for business.
Inn at The Forks is back, meaning drinks and dining are back on at SMITH – which now has an extended patio – while throughout the property you’ll find countless ways staff are keeping the property pristine.
"Sparrow Hotels has developed a very comprehensive health plan," says Joel Waterman, general manager of Inn at The Forks. "We've purchased electrostatic technology. It kind of looks like you're in Ghost Busters, you're wearing a backpack and you have a gun. It kills COVID-19 and all viruses 99.9 per cent of the time within about a minute and you just spray a walk away basically. It's going to be a game-changer for our industry."
As you’ll see in the above video, Waterman and his team are again ready to bring one of Canada’s best hotel experiences back to the public (#staycation), while SMITH has even more outdoor space for locals to come dine.
"Something that's really exciting is we have an expanded patio this summer,” said Waterman.
“We consulted with The Forks and decided this was an opportunity to hopefully bring some more visitation down."
