From the terrific tandem of Angela Farkas and Alana Fiks, the two chefs who brought gourmet popsicles onto the Winnipeg scene with Pop Cart, comes Black Market Provisions. This gourmet market features some of Winnipeg’s best producers on its shelves (including mustards, sourdough and more), while Farkas and Fiks are also serving up plenty of their own goodies to go, including excellent soups (frozen), spreads, salads (both leafy and bound), and ice cream (most of which is vegan) that is ridiculously good, including the can’t miss Thai-Phoon – featuring a coconut base studded with candied ginger and lemon grass.
