Living Prairie Museum is a 13 hectare tall grass prairie preserve and interpretive centre located in the City of Winnipeg. Tall grass prairie is an endangered ecosystem, with less than 1% remaining in North America.  Protected in 1968 as a remnant of original tall grass prairie, this preserve is home to over 160 species of wildflowers, grasses, and shrubs, and a great array of wildlife.

Visitors can explore self-guided trails through the prairie, visit the nature playground, or learn from the Living Prairie interpreters.

Trails are open daily from dawn to dusk.
