The Transcona Museum works to preserve and promote the community spirit of Transcona through, our history and stories for the benefit of all. Exhibits rotate annually, and feature the highlights of our extensive collection of artifacts, photographs and archival records that together tell the story of Transcona. Thanks to the donations of Transconian collectors, we also have special natural and cultural history collections that include over 8,000 moths and butterflies from around the world, and 3,500 archaeological and First Nations artifacts from throughout Manitoba. Educational programs and group presentations may be arranged by appointment.
