We’re going to make this a summer to remember!
All summer long, Tourism Winnipeg will be showing you ways to save your summer in Winnipeg.
This week, our hosts Sarah Robinson and Cody Chomiak say so-long to Zoom and go on-location at Thunder Rapids Fun Park for some head-to-head go-kart racing action.
Before they gear up, they chat with Thunder Rapids owner Verna McGuckin about what visitors can expect from new safety protocols in place, ensuring everyone has a safe and fun time.
"All of our outdoor activities are open," says McGuckin. "You can have go karting for drivers as young as three, all the way up to adults only, and everything in between."
Sanitize before you start and put on a helmet cleaned between every driver, or opt to bring your own from home.
In addition to two kart tracks, Thunder Rapids also features an 18-hole miniature golf course, bumper boats, batting cages and concession.
