Breweries
Winnipeg now has 16 breweries, two distilleries and quality bars in every neighbourhood. We have tours that will take to multiple breweries, while our huge public food halls – The Forks Market and Hargrave St. Market – both provide a showcase of local beer along with plenty of wine on tap too. Hargrave St. also does craft cocktails too.
Clubs and live music
While so many of our dance floors are certified fresh, we should probably single out a couple big clubs on the scene, namely 441 Main, The World-Famous Palomino Club (located right across Main Street from each other) and Fame (Winnipeg’s hottest GLBTTQ* club).
If bottle service and bass aren’t your thing, Winnipeg also has arguably more live music per night per capita in North America (outside of perhaps Nashville and St. John’s, N.L.).
On any given night here we guarantee you’ll find a great performance (for a reasonable cover charge) at Good Will Social Club, The Pyramid Cabaret, The Cavern, The Handsome Daughter, Le Garage Café, the Park Theatre, and Times Change(d) High & Lonesome Club – to name but a few.

Attractions
The Forks is Winnipeg’s most-visited tourist destination – and for good reason. Within its Market you’ll find The Common, a wine and beer bar with 20 wines and 20 craft beers (including a rotation of five local beers) on tap, which have been curated by Véronique Rivest, one of the world’s best sommeliers. These are available by glass (or pint) and in flight format, tastefully laid out on a Manitoba-shaped boards from Huron Woodwork. It’s also just a great spot to meet locals, as the market’s communal style setting is always bustling.
Thermëa is where you can go to relax in hot thermal pools under the stars or a snow-filled sky. This Nordic spa provides saunas, steam rooms, and all manner of relaxation, along with a great restaurant and bar too – all of which you can enjoy in your robe!
Finally, there’s no shortage of other fun indoor attractions like escape rooms and Activate, a Winnipeg-born interactive gaming attraction set to take over the world which everyone will relish, while Golf Dome (which is licensed) and axe-throwing are always available too.

In Winnipeg, brunch is an art, and Clementine is the best place to start. It has been named one of the best brunch spots in all of Canada and is a place where the fried chicken toast and burger dip are two of the best things you will eat all year (we guarantee). Stella’s is an institution found throughout the city where all the breads, pastries, etc, are baked in house; at Miss Browns breakfast is served all day and they have killer breakfast sandwiches, smoked meat hashes, and a super delicious shakshuka; Tallest Poppy has awesome food and hipster charm; while at Falafel Place being rushed from your table after your meal is all part of the ambiance (even The New York Times loved it).
