Set off on a thrilling voyage of excitement and discovery at the Manitoba Museum. In the Museum Galleries you can you travel through time, explore a 17th-century replica ship, stroll through fields and forests, and hear the stories of the people and events that shaped our province.
The Planetarium shares the wonders of the universe with visitors of all ages. We recreate the current night sky, highlight the latest space discoveries, and follow the developments of the space program. Enjoy feature productions, imaginative children’s shows, and interactive multimedia experiences.
The Museum Galleries and Planetarium are currently open Thursday to Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm. The Science Gallery remains closed due to COVID 19-related government restrictions.
There is always more to discover. The fascinating immersive experiences in our permanent galleries are complimented by ever-changing temporary, touring, and specialty exhibits that bring the world to Manitoba.
Once it opens again, the Science Gallery will be fun for everyone. Design and build your own remote-controlled race cars and test them on a giant track, or explore ways to save Lake Winnipeg. Test your engineering skills in the LEGO Brickyard, and enjoy hands-on activities in the Explore Science Zone.
