Living Prairie Museum is a 13 hectare tall grass prairie preserve and interpretive centre located in the City of Winnipeg. Tall grass prairie is an endangered ecosystem, with less than 1% remaining in North America.  Protected in 1968 as a remnant of original tall grass prairie, this preserve is home to over 160 species of wildflowers, grasses, and shrubs, and a great array of wildlife. Explore the prairie with a guide, interpretive booklet, or with Naturalist Knapsacks which are free to borrow and are full of fun equipment for kids.

From May 24th to June 28th, 2020 opening hours are Sundays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours in July and August are to be determined.
