If you are fluent in the language of “Pspspsps” this place is the cat’s meow. Cleocatra Cafe has proved to be a purr-fect business for operator Harry Ho, expanding to two locations within its first year of operation. At both the original Portage Ave shop, and the newest one in Osborne Village, you can sip from Vietnamese coffee and tea drinks (yes, the lattes come with cat designs in the foam) and enjoy a little selection of desserts while playing with a host of feline friends. Both cafés have a charming Victorian/whimsical aesthetic (you better believe there are anthropomorphized cat paintings on the walls), all the cats are rescued and up for adoption, and you must reserve your visit in advance to ensure there's plenty of room to swing a cat (but don't you dare!).
