Now in their tenth year of operation, the West Side Band gathers each Tuesday in the Sturgeon Heights band room to rehearse, visit, and best of all, have a good time. Many of the members play jazz music as a hobby. The band hopes to continue to promote jazz both locally in the St. James-Assiniboia community and throughout the City of Winnipeg.
