Jean Paul has been performing stand-up comedy for the past 20 years. His style has been described as a combination of ” a smooth laid back island vibe mixed with savage wit.” Jean Paul’s social commentary has international appeal, making him a crowd favourite wherever he goes. It has allowed him to perform extensively across Canada, the U.S., the Caribbean, South Africa, Israel and the U.K., performing at legendary venues as the Apollo in New York, Comedy Store in London and Place Des Art in Montreal at the Just For Laughs festival.
He has also performed and recorded performances for CBC’s The Debaters, the Halifax Comedy festival and for Kevin Hart’s LOL Network. As well as being a part of the Icebreakers Comedy Fest, JFL 42 and the Winnipeg Comedy Festival.
Jean Paul has also been featured on several national radio and television networks as a writer for shows like Da Kink in My Hair, Teletoon Network’s Ninjamaica, CTV’s A Russell Peters Christmas and the Junos. He doesn’t just love people…he loves making people laugh.
