Juno and Grammy-winning artist Chantal Kreviazuk has announced a Canadian tour in celebration of the 25th anniversary of her iconic sophomore album Colour Moving and Still. The tour includes a Winnipeg stop on Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Burton Cummings Theatre. Tickets go on sale Monday, May 13 at Ticketmaster.
In recognition of the album’s silver anniversary, Kreviazuk has revealed details of a deluxe edition re-release on double vinyl coming Oct. 4. The Colour Moving and Still double LP will include all 10 tracks from the album remastered, her iconic recording of Leaving on a Jet Plane and six previously unreleased live recordings produced on 180 gram vinyl via Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc. This is the first time that Colour Moving and Still has ever been made available on vinyl.
