Explore some lesser known areas of the marsh using a GPS receiver and participate in our Wetland Challenge for a chance to win some prizes.
GPS units will be available for those who don’t have one and would like to find out more about this fun and addictive family friendly activity. Several new caches will be unveiled and made available for finding throughout the Oak Hammock Marsh Wildlife Managed area for this event. Geocache Challenge: 12:30 – 3:00 p.m. Prizes: 3:30Some caches may require the use of chest waders and/or canoes. They will be provided and available on-site. Knowledge of a wetland ecosystem and its inhabitants will be very valuable! Admission fee is required to participate in this event.
