Join us live online for a virtual field trip focused on the Winnipeg General Strike. Learn what was happening on the ground in May and June of 1919, explore different perspectives, and discover what the Strike reveals about divisions in society. This program is geared to the grade 6 and grade 11 curricula, and is based on the Manitoba Museum’s exhibition, Strike 1919: Divided City.
As a participant, you will be able to see and hear the presenter, but they will not be able to see and hear you. Webinar participants will be invited to interact anonymously with the presenter by asking and answering questions via chat and polls.
The Zoom Webinar has a capacity of 100 spots. If you are not able to join us on Zoom, or prefer to participate via Facebook, we will be streaming the Virtual Field Trip live.
