Nikki Chooi was recently appointed Concertmaster of The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. Timothy Chooi captured the 2010 Grand Prix of the l’Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal at the age of 16.

For their Prairie Debut tour, these two brothers from Victoria are joined by pianist Philip Chiu, who was awarded the inaugural $125,000 Prix Goyer for “Extreme Emerging Artist” in classical music in 2015.

Art metaphors abound as critics extoll the “beauty of colour and tone” of the Chooi Brothers (The Edmonton Journal) and portray Philip Chiu as a “pianist-painter who turns every musical idea into a beautiful array of colours.” (La Presse)
