When it comes to really knowing your city, there's no better way than saddling up and hitting the streets on your two-wheeled friend.
And when it comes to refuelling pitstops, Downtown Winnipeg BIZ has it all covered.
Enter Moveable Feast, a cycling restaurant tour that takes biking foodies on an adventure through the core and to some of the city's best restaurants.
The fourth edition of the popular tour will be held Saturday September 27. This edition of the 'buffet on bike' is already sold out but Peg City Grub has two tickets to giveaway to one lucky winner. Contest details are below.
This latest edition starts at Thom Bargen Coffee + Tea and then heads to The Fyxx, East India Company, Rudy's Eat and Drink, Little Saigon, Chez Sophie on the Esplanade Riel and one surprise stop in the Exchange District. The menu includes iced or hot specialty coffee; soup and sandwich, aloo tikki chaat; onion rings and fries, sticky ribs, flatbread with hummus; salad rolls and salt and pepper egg plant and yams; and crepe Suzette with Grand Marnier and caramelized orange.
So you won't go hungry. Possibly, ever again.
