For five days every July, 80,000 people take residence in a provincial park north of Winnipeg to celebrate their love of music.

Performers rock the fields playing folk, world, Celtic, folk rock, indie, bluegrass and many other styles to adoring crowds.

And those adoring crowds get really hungry. This year, University of Winnipeg's Diversity Foods won the contract to feed performers, volunteers and staff. Lead by chef Ben Kramer, the team will also man a food kiosk for the public.

Diversity is just one of dozens of local food vendors feeding the masses during the festival. Given the organization's commitment to the environment, like-minded food vendors were selected to serve their fare at the festival. A LOFT (local, organic, fair trade) philosophy guided selection.

Great tasting food also ranked high. With that in mind, here's a list of this year's food vendors at the 2014 edition of the Winnipeg Folk Festival.
