For Us Bakery & Tea
Chef/owner Shen Wu combines European and Chinese flavours at this bakery which just opened in November, 2019. Originally from Nanjing China, Wu moved to Winnipeg in 2012 and went on to complete her Professional Baking & Patisserie certificate from Red River College in 2013. From there, it was on to stints at some of Winnipeg’s best bakeries, including the Fort Garry Hotel and La Belle Baguette, along with traveling through China to find more inspiration. At her bakery you’ll find marvelous crepe cakes, tarts, cheesecakes and plenty of dainties using eastern ingredients, along with savoury dishes too like soups and char siu sandwiches.
