Legendary local steakhouse 529 Wellington by WOW! Hospitality has gone beyond its mansion setting to create a chic eatery right at Portage and Main. The 57-seat concept is all about the business lunch, in setting featuring an animated floor-to-ceiling bar with upwards of 100 wines curated by Jones & Company Wine Merchants to choose from, including the largest selection of premium wines by the glass you will find in Manitoba. The menu features prime-grade Canadian certified angus beef that the steakhouse is noted for, à la carte classic sauces, Japanese wagyu, a selection of fish dishes, and large salads too. One floor below you’ll find 529 Burger, a counter service spot offering the Oklahoma smashed burger, a crispy deep fried walleye burger, and a grilled Cajun chicken burger, and skinny fries that always hit the spot.
