Passes & Discounts
Winnipeg is known as the “cultural cradle of Canada,” so it only makes sense to get the most out of your visit by immersing yourself in our arts and culture scene all while visiting as many attractions as possible.
With all that in mind, these apps, deals and passes will see you experiencing more of the city for less.
Culture Card is an arts, cultural media and entertainment company whose events combine music, art, food, and fashion in unique spaces throughout the city. It also has a free app that contains a list of the city’s events and provides more than 100 exclusive offerings and discounts to a variety of Winnipeg establishments.
Seven Winnipeg cultural institutions started this initiative – those being The Manitoba Museum, Manitoba Opera, The Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, Winnipeg Art Gallery, Prairie Theatre Exchange, Rainbow Stage, and Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet – to both promote performances/exhibits and offer discounts when you subscribe to their monthly email service.
The Winnipeg Culture Pass is a booklet that gets you two performance tickets – with options including Manitoba Opera, Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet, the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, and The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra – along with exhibit admissions to both the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and the Manitoba Museum, for the incredibly low price of $89.
This rewards program is ideal for frequent Winnipeg visitors and those of you on an extended stay. This app (also available as a physical card) allows you to collect points when shopping at over 100 locally owned Winnipeg stores. Those points can then be spent like cash within this same network of locally owned stores.
The Winnipeg Pass provides access to eight attractions while saving you up to 53 per cent. It is available in one-day ($25 & $35), two-day ($35 & $45), and five-day ($39 & $56) formats for both children and adults, and can be purchased online [link] and at hotels and visitors centres across the city. New passes — including a Foodie Pass, a Summer Pass and City Pass — are also in the works.
Visit Old St. Boniface, St. Vital and St. Norbert. The Passport will help you discover the treasures of the Riel District, Winnipeg's French Quarters. Includes admissions to 5 attractions, St. Boniface Theatre in the cemetery discounts, and many other great discounts with amazing local businesses.
