  • WRAPPED: The Mummy of Pesed

    For the first time in 45 years, a real mummy will be on display in Winnipeg. This exhibit showcases Pesed, the shining one, a mummy and her coffin, and includes over 60 ancient Egyptian antiquities, CT scans and forensic facial reconstructions of Egyptian mummies. It tells the story of the Western fascination with mummies over the last 400 years.

    Hours: Tuesday to Friday: OPEN 10 am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday: OPEN 11 am to 5pm Monday: CLOSED

  • The Roaring Game; 125 Years of Manitoba Curling History. Special Exhibit

    The Exhibit features the 73 Manitoba Teams that have won a National Championship as well as the 8 World Champions and 1 Olympic Gold Medalist. Also highlighted are the 4 Manitoba teams who will be vying for a chance to represent Canada in Sochi at the Roar of the Rings to be held at the MTS Centre December 1-8. You can see Brier and Scotties Rings, World Medals and even a Gold Medal from the 2006 Torino Olympic Games! Many of these items are not normally on display for the public to see.

    Hours: Monday: Closed. Tuesday - Saturday: 10am - 4pm Sunday: Noon - 5pm PLEASE NOTE: Closed October 19, 2013 for a private function.

    Tom Segura is a comedian originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, though he was raised in too many places to list. His television credits include Conan, Comedy Central Presents (half-hour special), Showtimes’ Russell Peters Presents, and Live at Gotham! When he’s not on tour Tom continues to perform at the top comedy festivals in the world, including Montreal’s Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The Comedy Festival – Las Vegas, The South Beach Comedy Festival, and The Global Comedy Festival in Vancouver.
