Since 1931, locals have flocked to the Salisbury House for eggs and bacon, hot dogs and fries, perogies and kielbasa and the signature sandwich—the nip, otherwise known as a hamburger. This Winnipeg institution has more than 20 locations, including Sals on the Bridge at The Forks. At this unique location, diners enjoy stunning city views on the Esplanade Riel, a suspension pedestrian bridge over the Red River.
