A great night in Winnipeg

I was in my first year of school at the university of manitoba about 3 years ago and a couple of friends and I decided to head down to The Forks for a little group skate. It was probably one of the best times i've had in Winnipeg.

We taught a couple of our friends how to skate since they didn't know how and or didn't know how to do it well. It was a great experience watching the friends of mine who didn't skate very well learn how. After that we ended up walking around the forks checking out the little shops taking the newbies up to the tower and I translated the plaque with cree syllabics at the top into english.

Later on in the night we ended up at the skate park and we just had a blast running up the ramps pretending we were Tony Hawk or Shaun White. We then decided go to baked expectations on osbourne. Everybody ordered something they were craving. I remember ordering dill pickle soup and I was surprised by how great it tasted and whenever I get the chance I order me some dill pickle soup.

At the end of the night we went back to the University Residence, Tache Hall, and watched a movie. All in all it was one of the greatest nights I've ever had in Winnipeg, certainly a Top 5 moment in my books.
