Tourism Winnipeg

I LOVE WINNIPEG...period.

I will always be a Winnipeg girl at heart. I have wonderful childhood memories and adore bringing my daughters back to visit twice a year. I hope one day we can bring our family back "HOME". The list of reasons why I love this city is too long. So here are a couple of my favourite places.

Tinkertown.....I have photos of me as a baby with my brothers on the little boats and now I get to share this with my kids, niece and nephews. We go EVERY summer and it's magical every time!

The Forks......Such a beautiful meeting place. Great food, great people and a great feeling of pride while I walk down by the river.

Children's Museum and theatre....Both great venues for young minds and it won't break the bank.

Osborn village....A great street full of creative people that are passionate about life.

Restaurants....There is so many outstanding ones here for such a small city....I have a hard time picking when I come home.

Last but not least.....The JETS! It's been a long time but well worth the wait. Nothing was better than being a child with your dad cheering in your white T in support of YOUR team!

Winnipeg is also full of art and history. Surrounded by beautiful lakes and beaches and let's not forget the GORGEOUS warm summer nights and cheap golf :)
