Winnipeg, my home.

I did not always love Winnipeg. I moved to the city to attend University and lived in the south end for 6 years. I would always aspire to live in a city with brighter lights, an NHL team, and cheaper airfares. Montreal was at the top of the dream list. It wasn't until I relocated away from Winnipeg after my 6 years that I realized Winnipeg was my home.

I didn't last long away from Winnipeg, I rushed back as fast as I could 10 months after departing, and knew it was my home for good. I have so much passion for this great city, and now with our NHL team back it feels like a dream come true. I LOVE WINNIPEG!
