Canada Day In Winnipeg

My Winnipeg story is about Canada Day in Winnipeg. It is my favourite day in the Peg and I believe that it shows just how amazing this place is and can be. The photo I've decided to send you is one I took at the most recent Osborne Village Canada Day Street Festival. My girlfriend and I have attended this party every Canada Day since we've been together and love it more and more every year.

The photo here really shows how multicultural our city is with the Chinese Dragon dancing and the huge variety of types of people who walk the street that day. I've always said whenever I introduce someone new to Winnipeg that Canada Day is easily the best day to do it. I've met countless amounts of people who run tents on the street from local stores and restaurants that I now frequent throughout the rest of the year.

Canada Day in Winnipeg is a tradition for me that reminds me of how proud I am to be a Winnipegger and a Canadian.
